Last night the cat, Bob, came running up to the house with a little field mouse in his mouth and promptly dropped it at Gucci's (the dog) feet. It was still alive but moving pretty slowly. After the screaming girl stuff happened, I got the dog inside and hoped the mouse would just wobble off and die in the woods. Alas, that didn't happen.

Why? Because my girls got involved! Who knew that they would stop screaming and decide to help the cat out a little bit..... Grace picked up Bob and took him over to where the poor little mouse was trying to wobble away. He had absolutely no interest. Just look at this picture! It looks like three little friends off on an afternoon stroll. Bizarre.

Bob decided to relax a little, but the mouse still kept coming!

And coming!

That is when I started screaming and yelling for the girls to come inside. I don't know what happened to the mouse. I imagine the outcome wasn't good.
What is wrong with my children? My cat? ME, for taking the stupid pictures? ;-)

First, I don't think this story is weird because your kids led a mouse to the slaughter--ok, maybe you should worry about the potential they'll be future serial killers. What makes you weird is that your cat is named Bob.
That is freaking hilarious.
We have tons of mice around here. Sometimes they are brought into our home by Brady, the bad boy. Other times they come in of their own accord. This is what happens when you have a bird feeder so close to your home in the winter.
Actually, the cat's name is Bella, but that was before we found out she was really a he. So now the name goes back & forth from Bella to Bob.
That is FUNNY!
Still, Bob is just a ridiculous name for an animal. Or for a spouse (hee, hee!)
---almost as bad as Fred. ha ha
Oh, I love you! You always make me laugh.
I have a friend whose name is Bob, so yes that is a bit weird....
You are pretty talented to create such a fun story complete with pictures about a mouse, a kid and a cat!!
FUNNY, but weird... not yet!!
This is the funniest thing I've ever seen (read?).
