Yes we can...

...become Kindergartners!!! The girls and I survived Kindergarten Roundup today. I was the most stressed of the three of us, but Sophie was a bit worried (as you can see in the pic). Grace, on the other hand, didn't have a care in the world. Both of the girls did a great job!! For some reason, though, Gracie informed the school nurse that she wore glasses. I'm assuming that she meant sunglasses, but who knows...... ;-)

Notice that the girls were dressed for the downpour of rain that hit us this afternoon.

Kindergarten here we come

My babies--- BABIES--- are going to Kindergarten Roundup on Monday. I could cry just thinking about it. How did it happen so quickly? Both of them will be in the same class---- their poor teacher. ;-)

These pics were taken just a week or so after Sophie came home from Thailand so Gracie was 7 months old and Sophie was 13 months old.

Gotta gotta try a little tenderness.....

Well, first Sophie had the flu---- then Gracie---- then Sophie again. We spent the afternoon yesterday at the hospital getting chest x-rays for Sophie. Naturally, she loved it. Sheesh! Her x-rays were fine. I kinda knew that there was no problem since we sat in the waiting room and she sang, "Gotta gotta try a little tenderness" the entire time. It was quite entertaining, and I almost felt badly for the other sick people having to listen to her but I couldn't stop laughing long enough to make her stop. ;-) Try to envision a scrawny little Thai kid dancing and singing like Otis Redding. Actually, she was more like the "Shrek" version when Donkey sang the song. Funny! In her defense, though, she did have to stop occasionally for coughing fits.

Here is a pic of the girls fresh from the bathtub. Neither look too sick tonight, do they?

And just for your viewing entertainment--- the one, the only, Otis Redding

And this is more like Sophie's version--- the one, the only, Donkey! ;-)
