Not only does Gracie have a broken arm and THE flu, but now Sophie has THE flu too, and so do I! Just an FYI--- the stick they shove up your nose to test for the flu virus is yicky!!!

Aarrgghh! What's next?

Two girls in bed---- one with a broken arm and BOTH with the flu. Aarrgghhh!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody just stick a fork in me--- I'm done.

Football for girls?

I think not! Sophie & Grace decided to play football in the yard yesterday afternoon, and this was the result....


My baby broke her arm! We spent HOURS in the emergency room last night, and today we went to the orthopedic specialist and got it casted---- purple. The doctor actually ended up putting the cast right on top of the temporary one since he said it was set well in the ER (thank goodness). Plus, he said it would be really painful for her to take the old one off and recast her arm. My poor girl..... 4-6 weeks and she'll be as good as new.

This was taken right after we got home from the doctor this afternoon. She had some pretty good drugs in her if you can't tell---- she's as loopy as a pet coon in this pic. ;-)


And I had to take a close-up of her purple cast because she's incredibly proud of it. Of course, a dog would be sniffing her arm in the pic. Nice. ;-)
