Today, I would like to share a very special quote given to me by my angelic Sophie.
When getting in the car this morning to go to school, Sophie discovered that the back doors were locked. She said, "Who the hell locked these doors?"
Yes, I'm proud. ;-)
Tonight the girls and I were discussing the horrible earthquake in Haiti and how the Haitian people needed our help. All of a sudden Sophie said, "I came home right before the big wave hurt Thailand, but I might have needed help if I was still there. We can take the money from my piggy to send to those people".
I cried.
Needless to say, our family will be sending a donation to help in the rescue efforts. Will you? A local physician, Dr Jim Wilkins, and his wife have been medical missionaries in Haiti for 11 years.
