School Christmas Program

The girls had their school Christmas concert a couple of weeks ago, and it was simply adorable. Each grade sang songs about Christmas celebrations throughout the world.  The girls each had a little speaking part, and Gracie was excited to say her part before the Mexican song (because she's a "MexiCAN, not a MexiCAN'T" --- yes, the kid has seen Beverly Hills Chihuahua a few times).

My sister made both of their funky outfits. I must say that nobody else was dressed like them. ;-)

I attempted to take a cute picture of the girls before we left for the concert, but Sophie kept making these faces.....

My little gymnast!

Sophie went to her first gymnastics match this afternoon, and she did great!  She was INCREDIBLY nervous, but she performed like a little pro.  I was so proud of her!!!  This was a big deal for her because she can be so timid in front of strangers, but she did it--- and she did well!

--and look who is on the top platform.....  Atta girl, Posey!  When they called her name she just sat there..... and sat there.... and sat there.....  They mispronounced our last name, so she just thought there was another kid named Sophie who got 1st place.  ;-)
