How time flies...

I was just looking at old pictures of the girls, and it's unbelievable how much they've grown. It makes me sad to think that my babies are growing up, but I also realize that I'm too danged old to go through "babyhood" again. ;-)

This 2004 picture was Gracie's first Christmas and Sophie's first Christmas home. Weren't they adorable? No wonder I was always tired!

And here are the goofballs now. No wonder I'm always tired! ha ha

Gift buying this year is going to be interesting. Neither girl can decide what to ask Santa for--- Grace only wants Moon Sand (and she can recite the entire commercial- it's hilarious). Sophie, believe it or not, says that she has too many toys already. Very helpful, eh? Obviously, she has heard that statement a time or two from me when I'm on a "clean up your toy room" rampage. So I'm taking shopping suggestions for two almost 5 year old girls--- any hints?

On another note, Gracie's first appointment with the dentist is tomorrow and I'm afraid, very afraid. ;-) Hopefully, she'll get a good checkup because I cannot imagine what it would be like for her to have to get a tooth filled. I can honestly say that I would rather stick a fork in my eye than sit at the dentist's office with Grace if she had to get a tooth filled.

WOW, I forgot how darned cute they were! Now they're turning into beautiful little girls!! Good luck on presents for them. The only thing Kinley's asked Santa for is "a poop doll".

OK, you know I love you and would never steer you wrong, right? So, even though you make poor political choices, I am begging you not to make poor gift choices. Have you any experience with moon sand? It is the devil's toy. Trust me on this one. DO NOT LET SANTA BRING IT. It is messy, doesn't mold well, and leaves grains of semi-tacky sand all over your house. DO NOT BE DECEIVED by the "mainstream commercial media." DO NOT BUY MOON SAND!

My sister bought the Moon Sand! Do you honestly think I would want that goop all over my house???? But no worries--- I am convinced that the Moon Sand will mysteriously disappear in no time. ;-)

Wendy--- "the devil's toy"--- ha ha ha ha That sounds like the time you said, "Get behind me, Satan" or something to that effect. Still almost makes me pee my pants when I think about it and I don't even remember what we were talking about. ;-)
