Sophie: Wow, when did this happen?
Me: Daddy changed the light bulb.
Sophie: Why didn't anybody tell me about this?!?!?!
Me: I wasn't aware that I needed to tell you each time a light bulb got changed.
Sophie: Ummmm, I live in this house too, you know.
Me: Well, I'm terribly sorry. I'll be sure to let you know next time.
Sophie: Thank you.
Meanwhile, Grace is singing the song, "Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my baby...."
Am I the only person who thinks we're abnormal? Wait a minute--- don't answer that. ;-)

What the hell is going on in your house??? Clearly, you are a big fat failure as a mother for not keeping your daughter abreast of the current status of home improvements and repairs.
As for Grace...she must have learned about whiskey from someone? Who might that be??
