We watched the kids' Fancy Dance competition, and it was amazing. The costumes were gorgeous!
Sophie & Grace made Indian bracelets and key chains. A very nice lady taught Grace how to say hello in Navajo (Yá'át'ééh).
The girls later got their faces painted.
Sophie the monkey girl made it to the top of the coconut tree & got to ring the buzzer. Gracie go so close but just couldn't climb those last few feet.

How great for Gracie to see more children just like her! This seems like such a fun festival and I loved all the costumes you showed on FB. I am not surprised that Sophie is such a good climber, she is like a monkey and can do all kinds of gymnastics.... did you sign her up already?? JJ & Jezz are still trying to put their leg behind their head, just like Sophie!
Mireille- Yes, Sophie started gymnastics and has already moved up to the advanced class. I'm really hoping she'll stick with it.
