I promptly ran to the drug store in a mad search for the magical Neti Pot. I bought it for a mere $14.99 and was giddy with excitement to use it before bed. I knew Dr Oz would not recommend something if it wasn't going to work on me. After all, he does know everything! Just take a look at how easy and pleasant this procedure is...
Perfect, eh?
The only problem is that Dr Oz has forsaken me! It was NOT pleasant! That icky salt water was going everywhere. GROSS!!!! It was going down my throat. MY. THROAT. It was HORRIBLE!
My love affair with Dr Oz has now officially ended. Done.

Your first and foremost problem here is that you did not consult with Dr. C first (that would be me). Because I have had first hand experience with the neti pot and I could have warned you. But no. You had to rely on the advice of some two-bit TV doctor. The last time I used a neti pot I got so much fluid stuck in my eustacian tubes that the pain felt like someone driving spikes into my brain. Avoid at all costs.
Not that you asked.
It is supposed to flow out the other nostril isn't it? I can't say it works wonders for me either.
Any product that involves things coming out of your nose (which in any other situation would be considered gross) is clearly a product you want to avoid..... :)
Get the squeeze bottle, not the pot!! 1000% easier-my kids do it on their own and love it!!
With the pot you have to tile your head JUST right!! They have them at Target for sure and it's by the same company! You'll love it!
