I HATE POOLS!!!!!!!
After week 1 we drained the pool and set it up elsewhere. We still have the barren spot in our yard where it sat. It lasted 2 weeks in it's new position until it got so disgusting that I wouldn't let anyone actually touch the water. We faithfully ran the little pump with the chlorine, make sure the bugs were strained out, and covered it up at night. Where did we go wrong? What do people with real pools do??? Uggghhhh!!!!
Tomorrow, I am going to attempt to clean it with bleach and set it up for round three. I have no doubt that we're going to have little crop circles all over our yard before the end of summer. Thank goodness this thing is only 2.5' deep. Otherwise, our water bill would be astronomical.
Did I mention that I hate pools?!?!?!?!

Ahhh, ha ha! My little one-footer looks like a swamp. I couldn't handle one has big as yours ;)
Oh no! You are too funny with the "crop circles". My neighbor has one of those bigger, stand alone round pools and were just talking how they had the thing paid off and how long it had lasted. The next day they filled it and the next day after that it collapsed completely, flooding their entirely yard and half the neighborhood! So, hey, it could be worse? LOl, thank God yours is only 2 feet! :-)
