My baby turned 5 years old today, and while I'm glad that we're no longer sterilizing bottles and changing diapers, I still can't help but feel a bit sad that my little angel is growing up..... :-( Gracie had a grand time at her birthday party, but my Sophie girl was sick with a fever the entire time. Sophie's tonsils are terribly swollen so we're heading to Urgent Care tomorrow to get her checked out---- thank God for Urgent Care. That has to be the best invention in a long, long time.

I had much-younger cousins (looks about this age difference) who I always doted on when they were little kids and now that they are college kids it is so much fun b/c they still come to stay with us and tell me all their secrets and make us go to concerts and bad movies. Your kids will cherish these relationships their whole lives through!
