Yes, We Can!

Well, even though President-elect Obama wasn't "my" candidate, he IS my future President. As a mother who battled to get U.S. citizenship for my Thai born daughter, I am proud that Americans flocked to the polls this year and voted.

Yes, We Can!

Righteous! I'm proud to see that you are on board. YES, WE CAN! I'm not willing to give up my yard sign, but you can have my Obama/Biden car magnet now that you've joined us!

Okay sista, I'm not saying that I'm on board. I'm just not fighting the battle anymore. It ended when Sophie asked me if the "bad guy" is our new president. I figured I should let it go.....

I assume that by "bad guy" she was refering to McCain? I know Lily finds him "scary." When Lily saw Obama on the cover of People in the grocery store the other day, she started shouting, Barack Obama, the Man of the United States." That's my girl!

YES, WE CAN!

Um no, she wasn't referring to Maverick McCain. Don't get me going, woman! ;-) I told you that I'm taking one step closer----- gimme until November to fully hop on board.

I would love to go to the inauguration. They say there may be over 1,000,000 people there. Cool beans.
